You're Going on a Quote Hunt

• The instructor will assign each student a partner.
• Each pair needs to find (1) quote in Chps. 1-5 that supports each of the four statements listed below. 
• Have your quotes and page numbers ready, along with some discussion to defend your position.
• You have 15 minutes. Go!
• After time is called, the instructor will call on pairs at random to support one of their claims.
• Quotes and discussion must be relevant to the topic. (10 pts.)

1. Although Hoppie does not appear to show signs of racism towards Peekay, he does exhibit racism toward others.
2. Even though Mevrou is not exactly warm and fuzzy, she does show signs of caring about Pisskop.
3. Even though some might say Peekay's innocence as a child makes him weak, his innocence is actually beneficial to his survival.
4. Hoppie should or should not be considered a racist.
